Air New Zealand Aircraft Soon to be No More at Wellington

A couple of Air New Zealand aircraft in the old colours, that soon will not be seen due to fleet restructuring.

Rayethon Beech B 1900D ZK-EAN3, part of the B 1900D fleet that will soon be retired in favour of Q 300s and ATR 72s, and due to the cessation of Air New Zealand Services to some provincial towns that has already happened.

And Boeing B 737-319 ZK-NGG is one of the last 737s in service.  Air New Zealand has only three 737s still registered.

It is interesting to look back on the old Air New Zealand colour scheme.  I had thought it was pretty good but I do have to say that the new black and white scheme looks sharper.  I have also noticed that the new scheme is very distinctive from underneath as aircraft fly overhead.
