Robinson R44 Raven II ZK-IWL was lost in fatal wire strike at French Pass on 13-03-2015.
ZK-IWL (c/n 10202) was first registered to Skysales (NZ) Ltd of Christchurch on 10-12-2003.
It was uncrated at Heli Maintenance two days later and listed to J E McInnes & L Loup of Taramakau Settlement on the 22nd.
It is seen above in the Christchurch Helicopters Ltd hangar on 24-01-2004 and it was registered to them on 24-02-2004.
It returned briefly to J E McInnes from 06-12-2004 before moving to Wyndon Aviation Ltd in Maddisons Road, Christchurch from 14-12-2004.
At end of lease it went back to J E McInnes and L Loup again from 03-03-2006 and then on to Simcox Construction Ltd of Blenheim from 01-05-2006.
It is seen above at Christchurch on 23-07-2014.
